The book was launched last June 23 (Sunday) with a grand ceremony at Sydney’s Glenwood Hub. The book is published with a total of 34 real-life stories on the history of immigration to Australia. Australia Days was written by 32 different professionals.
The book called OUR STORY is mainly edited for future generations. Collected and edited by Mustafa Abdullah and Abdur Razzaq. The publication and launch of the book were funded entirely by “The Bangladeshi group of the Keeping in Contact (KIC) program supported by STARTTS and Funded by WentWest, Western Sydney Primary Health Network”.
Editor Mustafa Abdullah said at the beginning of the program, we all have a story in our lives. The story of our lives. For many, it is a story of coming to a new country and making it one’s own. Far away from one’s own country – even today it is one’s own country. The book “OUR STORY” has been compiled with the stories of some such immigrants settling in new countries.
