Nicole Kidman Breaks Silence on Life After Split with Keith Urban

2 min read

Nicole Kidman has spoken publicly for the first time since her separation from Keith Urban, reflecting on her personal philosophy of survival, gratitude, and connection.

The actress, who recently filed for divorce after reports that the couple had been living apart for some time, opened up in an interview with Harper’s Bazaar. She described her approach to life as one centered on “survival”, explaining that she has endured many challenges and learned to share her experiences rather than give direct advice. “This is what I’ve learned; take from it what you will,” she said, emphasizing that everyone ultimately chooses their own path.

Kidman also spoke about what she believes keeps life “vibrant” a combination of family, connection, and gratitude. She expressed appreciation for her career and her role as a mother, saying, “I’m grateful to be a part of this world. I’m grateful to be surviving as a woman, as an actress, and as a producer, professionally and personally. Also, my children [give me the] purpose of being their protector and their guide, promising them that I’m here and that, no matter what, there’s always a safe place to grow up in.”

This marks Kidman’s first official interview since the announcement of her split from Urban, her husband of nearly two decades. While she did not directly address the details of the separation, her reflections on resilience and family suggest a focus on moving forward with strength and purpose.
