The Netherlands has unveiled a new aid package worth €175 million (approximately $202 million) to assist Ukraine, Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans announced on Tuesday. The package includes 100 drone-detection radars and 20 medical evacuation vehicles to bolster Ukraine’s defense and medical capabilities.

The radars are designed to detect incoming drones and relay data to air defense systems, with delivery expected to be completed by the end of the year. Additionally, €80 million of the aid will be allocated to drone support through the international drone coalition, according to a statement from the Dutch Defense Ministry on Friday.

This latest support follows a broader deal valued at €500 million to produce 600,000 drones in collaboration with Ukraine’s defense industry, announced ahead of a NATO summit in The Hague. Since Russia’s full-scale invasion in early 2022, the Netherlands has committed approximately €10 billion in military support to Ukraine, reflecting its ongoing strategic backing amid the conflict.
