Minister Vows Strict Oversight to Ensure Fair, Error‑Free SSC Examinations

1 min read

Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has assured that the upcoming SSC examinations will be conducted with the highest level of transparency and discipline, saying clear instructions have already been issued to prevent any irregularities in the preparation and distribution of question papers. Speaking to reporters after a meeting at the ministry on Thursday, he said all necessary preparations are in place to ensure a smooth and credible examination process.

The minister reiterated the government’s commitment to accountability and stronger oversight across the education sector, noting that reforms are being shaped to meet the needs of a modern, quality‑driven system. He pointed out that past emergency measures such as exam suspensions or auto‑pass decisions were taken only under exceptional circumstances and were never intended to become permanent features of the system.

Addressing concerns about the politicisation of teachers and their participation in political programmes during class hours, Milon stressed that their foremost responsibility is teaching students. He said the ministry expects educators to uphold professional ethics and prioritise classroom duties above all else.
