Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson for Inquilab Mancha and an independent candidate hopeful for Dhaka-8, is currently under conservative management, according to the medical board overseeing his treatment. The update was shared in an official statement on Saturday, December 13.
The board outlined its key observations and decisions:
- The patient’s brain has suffered severe damage
- Lung injuries are present
- Kidney function has returned
- Blood pressure and heartbeat are fluctuating due to brain stem injury
Doctors confirmed that Hadi’s condition remains under close observation and treatment continues within the framework of conservative management.
Commissioner’s Statement
Meanwhile, Dhaka Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sheikh Md. Sajjat Ali expressed optimism that those involved in the attempted murder of Hadi will soon be brought to justice.
He made the remarks on Saturday, December 11, while speaking to journalists after attending the annual general meeting of the Bangladesh Retired Police Officers Welfare Association at the Rajarbagh Police Auditorium.
