A man has been charged with murder after a fatal stabbing incident on the New South Wales south coast. Emergency services responded to an intersection near the farmers market in Nowra on Sunday afternoon, where reports indicated a fight between two men who knew each other.
Paramedics attended the scene and provided treatment to the victim, a man believed to be in his 20s. Despite their efforts, he could not be revived and was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been officially confirmed.
A 47-year-old man surrendered to police shortly after the incident and has been taken into custody. He is scheduled to face court today.
