Major changes in Bangladesh police

48 officers of Bangladesh Police have been transferred simultaneously by order of the President.

These transfers were made in four separate notifications issued by the Police-1 branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs’ Public Security Division on Sunday (July 28). By order of the President, the Deputy Secretary Md. Mahabur Rahman Sheikh.

According to the notifications, two additional IGPs, five additional DIGs, and 48 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police have been transferred simultaneously.

In one of these notifications, two additional IGPs have been transferred. Another notification transferred five additional DIGs. Besides, 32 officers of the rank of Superintendent of Police have been transferred in one notification and 16 officers in another.

It is said in them that this order issued in the public interest will be effective immediately.
