July Declaration to Be Officially Announced in Parliament on August 5

The long-awaited July Declaration will be formally unveiled on Tuesday, August 5, in front of the National Parliament located on Manik Mia Avenue in the capital, according to an official announcement posted on the verified Facebook page of the chief adviser.

The post confirmed that the interim government has finalized the draft of the July Declaration, which will be presented to the nation at 5:00 PM in the presence of representatives from all parties involved in last year’s mass uprising.

Further details about the event will be shared soon, the Facebook update added.

As part of the scheduled “Celebrating 36th July” program, the day-long event will commence at 11:00 AM and will culminate with the public reading of the historic declaration at 5:00 PM. The celebration will conclude with a live musical performance by the renowned rock band Artcell at 8:00 PM.

The Ministry of Cultural Affairs is organizing the event, with the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy managing the program. The Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat is also providing support to ensure the successful execution of the program.
