The film “Peyarar Subash” (The Scent of Sin), starring renowned actor Jaya Ahsan, received a certificate of approval from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board.
The Nurul Alam Atique-directed movie will be released in theatres early next year after a seven-year hiatus.
Nurul Alam Atique said, “The movie was submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board on 23 November. The film is slated to release early next year. Since there are no obstacles now, I’m trying to show the film to the audience as soon as possible.”
As the reason for the film’s long delay, the director said, “The production of the film started a long time ago and it took much time to finish the production. Besides, the release process got delayed due to some complications.”
