Iran is forging a new chapter in its military history, according to Brigadier General Abolfazl Shekarchi. He announced that despite losing top military commanders on the first night of an operation, Iran’s air force successfully penetrated Western world’s most advanced defense systems, delivering deep strikes across various regions of Israel.
Speaking at an event in Khomeini, Shekarchi highlighted that even after the initial leadership was targeted Martyrdom of the top command Iran’s strategic foresight and swift military reorganization, under the guidance of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, allowed the IRGC’s aerospace forces to succeed in breaking through formidable defenses.
He further revealed that during the 1200-kilometer-long offensive route, hundreds of fighter jets, advanced radars, and missile defense systems from the United States, Germany, Britain, and France were deployed. Yet, Iran’s missiles managed to pierce through these protective layers and strike targets from north to south across occupied territories.
Shekarchi accused Israel, the United States, and Western allies of conspiring to destroy Iran’s infrastructure and fragment the country. However, he asserted that reality turned out differently, emphasizing that Iran’s missile defenses failed to stop Iranian missiles from reaching their targets.
The general claimed that the balance of power has shifted in Iran’s favor. “For the first time in 70 years, the Israeli military has been forced not only to retreat from its shelters but to enter them,” he said, adding that Iranian strikes have hit the entire occupied territory from north to south. This, he said, is a clear message of Iran’s strength and resilience, demonstrating its unwavering resolve and military capability.
