Iran has reportedly changed its approach to launching large-scale missile strikes. A senior military official from Iran has claimed that the country is no longer conducting massive missile attacks as before. Instead, Iran is now targeting Israeli military installations with more advanced and precise missiles capable of hitting targets with greater accuracy.
In an interview with CNN on Saturday, the unidentified official dismissed Israel’s recent claims that Iran’s missile stockpiles are nearly exhausted.
Over the past few days, Israel has maintained that while Iran still possesses significant missile reserves, at least 50 percent of Iran’s missile launchers have been destroyed in Israeli airstrikes. This has reportedly reduced Iran’s ability to carry out large-scale missile assaults.
The Iranian official asserted that Iran’s military now uses sophisticated, highly accurate missiles that can deliver precise strikes on Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have also confirmed these claims. The IDF’s Home Front Command stated that Iran is employing ballistic missiles capable of carrying cluster bombs.
These missiles are designed to reach an altitude of about seven kilometers, where their warheads split into around 20 explosive fragments, spreading over an area of approximately eight kilometers to hit their targets effectively.
