Yasaswi Jaiswal answered England in their language. Earlier in the day, English opener Ben Duckett took a breather from the Indian bowlers’ aggressive batting with one shot after another. Despite this, the English were all out for 319 runs, much behind the runs given by India. Playing in the second innings, Jaiswal picked up his second century of the current series. In which India has taken a big lead.
In the ongoing third Test in Rajkot, India has been showing dominance from the start. They got a lead of 126 runs in the first innings. Before the end of the third day, they collected 196 runs for 2 wickets in the second innings. Overall, Rohit Sharma’s lead increased to 322 runs. With plenty of time and wickets still in hand, India will look to shoot big and take the lead in the Test series as well.
Jaiswal was moving slowly at the beginning of the innings. It takes 80 balls to make a fifty. However, the young opener made his next fifty off just 42 balls. In a slow innings, the strike started rotating with an over from James Anderson. He hit a six and a couple of boundaries in the same over. The rest of the English bowlers had to burn brightly with the bat of his Jaiswal.
