ILT20 Set to Expand into Saudi Arabia After Landmark Deal

The International League T20 (ILT20) is preparing to stage matches in Saudi Arabia after securing a major partnership with the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF).

Under the agreement, SACF has officially sanctioned the ILT20 as both a men’s and women’s competition, opening the door for fixtures in the Kingdom in future editions. While Season 4 of the tournament will run from December 2, 2025, to January 4, 2026, in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah, Saudi Arabia is now firmly in line to host games.

ILT20 chairman Khalid Al Zarooni hailed the partnership, calling it a shared vision to grow cricket across the Gulf. “Saudi Arabia is a key part of the region, and its commitment to developing cricket is inspiring. This partnership will create opportunities for players and bring world-class cricket closer to the fans,” he said.

Prince Saud Bin Mishal Al-Saud, chairman of SACF, said the collaboration reflects the Kingdom’s ambition to expand cricket under the framework of Vision 2030. “We are committed to developing the game and giving our players opportunities to succeed internationally. This partnership will inspire more young men and women to take up cricket,” he said.
