Indian actress and author Huma Qureshi presented her debut novel, Zeba: An Accidental Superhero, at the Sharjah International Book Fair, sharing insights about the titular character described as “gritty, fierce, funny, and vulnerable.”
Speaking at the event, Qureshi expressed her excitement, calling it a “dream come true” to discuss her book, which celebrates the “messiness of life and the quiet strength it brings.” The session, moderated by an entertainment editor, highlighted the relatability of Zeba, who Qureshi sees as a reflection of ordinary yet magical lives.
