Hason Raja Festival to be held in Sydney

Hason Raja Festival’ is going to be held in Sydney, Australia for the first time in commemoration of Hason Raja. This event is scheduled to be held at Bryan Brown Theatre in Banks Town, Sydney on December 9.

Popular folk singers Salim Chowdhury and Deepti Rajvanshi will participate in the festival. Artist Dipti Rajvanshi is the consort of legendary Bangladeshi artist Indramohan Rajvanshi.

The chief coordinator of the festival, Sulaiman Ashrafi Dewan, the successor of Sadhak Hason Raja and an Australian expatriate industrialist, said that Manishi Hason Raja’s spirituality and human consciousness are omnipresent. Our main aim of this festival is to remind Bengalis who have been living abroad for a long time about their roots and to introduce the new generation growing up here to the traditions and culture of their ancestors.

The festival will also feature local Sydney artists in various stages.

The Hason Raja Festival is organized by ‘Hason Raja Parishad Australia’ in collaboration with ‘Poth Productions’.
