Leaders of the Palestinian armed group, Hamas, and Yemen’s Houthi rebels held a rare meeting.
During the meeting, they agreed that if Israel launches any military aggression in Rafah, Gaza, they will launch a joint attack against them. A Hamas source, who spoke on condition of anonymity to the AP news agency, disclosed this on Saturday, March 16. The meeting took place in Lebanon.
Later on, the AP reported that there were discussions between Hamas and the Houthis about escalating attacks against Israel and encircling them.
The unnamed Palestinian source said, “There has been a discussion with the Palestinian groups about additional attacks by the Houthis, especially if Israel attacks Rafah.”
