A fire broke out at Petronas Tower 3 in Kuala Lumpur this morning, sparking concern as photos and videos of the incident quickly spread across social media platforms. According to initial reports, the blaze is believed to have originated from a restaurant located on the upper floor of the iconic building complex.

The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department confirmed the incident, with its director Hassan As’ari Omar stating that no casualties have been reported so far. He further explained that multiple fire engines and personnel were immediately dispatched to the scene to bring the situation under control.

Eyewitnesses reported seeing thick smoke rising from the tower, while emergency services cordoned off the surrounding area to ensure public safety. The swift response of the fire department helped contain the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other parts of the building.

Authorities are now investigating the cause of the fire, though no official statement has yet been made regarding the extent of the damage. The incident caused temporary disruption in the vicinity of the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC), one of the busiest commercial and tourist hubs in Malaysia.
