Final Voter List to Be Published by August 31

The Election Commission announced that the final voter list will be released on August 31, ahead of the upcoming general elections.

The draft list is scheduled for publication on August 10, with all complaints to be resolved by August 21, according to EC Senior Assistant Secretary Nasir Uddin.

Although there were initial concerns about potential delays in amending the Voters’ List Act, officials remain confident that the final list will be ready by the end of August, as the amendments have already been finalized.

The last update from EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed revealed that approximately 44.66 lakh new voters will be added to the list.
