The Election Commission has published updated constituency wise voter statistics ahead of the upcoming referendum and the thirteenth national parliamentary election. According to officials, a total of 127,711,795 citizens will be eligible to cast their ballots on February 12.
A senior official from the commission’s secretariat said the electorate includes 64,825,151 men, 62,885,524 women and 1,120 transgender voters.
Among the 300 constituencies, Jhalokathi 1 has the lowest number of registered voters with 228,431. Gazipur 2 has the highest with 804,333 voters.
Officials noted that the constituency level data will play a crucial role in election planning and logistical management.
