Narsingdi’s entertainment centres have exploded with life during the Eid‑ul‑Fitr holidays, with Dream Holiday Park in Paikarchar, beside the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway, becoming the biggest magnet for crowds. From early morning, the park transformed into a festive gathering spot as children, teenagers and adults poured in, filling every corner with laughter and colour.
Even on Eid day, despite light drizzles, visitors flocked to the beach‑style attractions. A rainbow stretching across the sky, a glowing sunset after the clouds cleared, and a refreshing breeze added to the magic of the celebration, drawing families from Dhaka and across the country.
Spread across nearly 60 acres, the modern amusement park remains open daily from 10am to 7pm. Entry tickets cost Tk350 for adults and Tk250 for children aged 3-8. Access to the water park is Tk450 for adults and Tk350 for children, while locker rentals range from Tk100 to Tk500. With more than 30 rides priced between Tk70 and Tk200 visitors have no shortage of thrills.
To amplify the Eid spirit, the entire park has been decorated with special festive displays. Families are enjoying everything from the Kids Zone, Bullet Train and Sky Train to Air Bicycles, Swan Boats, Water Boats, Roller Coasters, Crazy River and Lazy River rides. At the water park, crowds danced to DJ music, turning the holiday into a full‑scale celebration.
Tourism operators say the park remained quiet throughout Ramadan, but the Eid holidays have brought back its signature vibrancy. With expectations of 1 to 1.1 million visitors this season and business worth around Tk100 crore, the festive rush is only growing.
