Actor Edie Falco says stepping into James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash felt like entering “another whole world,” calling it a privilege to be part of the director’s vast and ever‑evolving cinematic universe, People reported.

Falco, 62, who plays the antagonist General Ardmore, shared her reflections during an exclusive conversation with People while attending the Mayor of Kingstown season four screening in New York.

“It’s another whole world,” Falco said. “And it’s kind of a great honour to be a part of the stuff that James Cameron imagines and makes happen. He’s quite astonishing in that regard.”

Praising Cameron’s Innovation
Falco highlighted Cameron’s relentless drive to push filmmaking forward:

“He’s invented machines and new ways of shooting, and to be invited to be a part of that, I’m very lucky.”

She described Cameron’s creative energy as refreshing and childlike:

“He’s like a little kid. He’s got all kinds of ideas and curiosity, and he has the excitement about storytelling that you have when you first start out.”

New Cultures Coming to Pandora
While the plot of Avatar: Fire and Ash remains tightly guarded, Cameron has hinted that the film will introduce audiences to new Na’vi cultures on Pandora including the Ash People, a fire‑associated clan.

The film features returning stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephen Lang, with Oona Chaplin joining as Varang, leader of the Ash People.

Now Playing Worldwide
Avatar: Fire and Ash is currently screening in theatres globally, continuing Cameron’s ambitious multi‑film expansion of the Avatar universe.
