The Election Commission (EC) has announced that 10 November will be the last date for voters to apply for address changes due to relocation, ahead of the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Elections.

According to an official circular, voters must submit their applications by this deadline to ensure their names are correctly included in the final electoral roll. The EC has approved a detailed timeline for receiving and processing these applications before finalising the voter list.

Under the schedule, the deadline for voter relocation applications is 10 November, while Registration Officers will have until 17 November to review and either approve, issue, or reject the submitted requests.

The final voter list for the 13th National Parliamentary Elections will be formally published on 18 November, confirmed EC Secretariat Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.

The directive is part of the Commission’s broader preparations to ensure a transparent and accurate electoral process. Officials have urged voters who have recently changed their residence to complete the necessary paperwork immediately to avoid being left out of the final roll.

With the national polls approaching, the EC is working to streamline voter registration and address updates, aiming to minimize errors and ensure that all eligible citizens can exercise their right to vote.
