Dhaka Road Transport Owners to operate buses during the blockade

The Dhaka Road Transport Owners Association has said that buses and minibuses will continue to operate across the country including Dhaka due to the blockade called by BNP-Jamaat.

This information was given in a statement sent by Samdani Khandkar, office secretary of Dhaka Road Transport Owners Association, on Saturday (November 4).

According to the statement, regarding the road-rail-sea blockade program called by BNP-Jamaat for 48 hours across the country from tomorrow, it was decided after discussions with senior officials of the association, transport companies of Dhaka, route owners’ association, and labor leaders that the blockade will continue for 48 hours from tomorrow Sunday. The bus-minibus movement will continue across the country including Dhaka. The leaders requested the association/company owners to maintain normal vehicle movement on all routes.
