The question of whether BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will be taken abroad for medical treatment remains undecided.
Her medical board has emphasized that any move overseas will only be considered once doctors are certain she can be safely transferred, given the seriousness of her condition.
On Saturday afternoon, Dr. A Z M Zahid Hossain, a member of the BNP’s standing committee, briefed journalists at Evercare Hospital in Dhaka, where Khaleda Zia is currently receiving care. He reiterated that her health is being given the highest priority in all decisions.
