The tragic crash of a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft into a school building in Uttara, Dhaka, has resulted in at least 19 fatalities and injured over 50 people, according to latest reports filed around 4:53 pm on Monday. The incident occurred on the campus of Milestone School and College in the Diabari area.
In response to the devastating accident, the government has announced a one-day national mourning for Tuesday. During this period, the national flag will be flown at half-mast at all government, semi-government, autonomous, educational, and private institutions across the country, as well as at Bangladesh missions abroad.
Additionally, special prayers will be held at religious places nationwide for those who lost their lives and those injured in the crash. The incident has shocked the nation, prompting a period of reflection and mourning.
