Actor and filmmaker Dax Shepard took to Instagram to share a daring celebration for his wife Kristen Bell’s first-ever Emmy nomination. The 44-year-old actress is vying for the Best Actress in a Comedy Series award for her role in the series Nobody Wants This.
In a bold move, Kristen marked the occasion by stripping down completely wearing only knee-high blue socks and performing a one-legged downward dog yoga pose. Dax, 50, captured the moment and posted it to his 4.1 million followers, celebrating her achievement in a unique and playful way.
While Kristen is thrilled about her nomination, she faces tough competition at this year’s Emmys. She will compete against Jean Smart from Hacks, who won the same award last year, as well as Ayo Edebiri from The Bear, who is nominated for the second consecutive year. Other contenders include Uzo Aduba from The Residence and Quinta Brunson from Abbott Elementary.
Dax and Kristen have been married since 2013 and are proud parents to two daughters, Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10. Despite her excitement, Kristen’s chances of winning remain uncertain with such a strong lineup of talented nominees.
