Chief Election Commissioner Announces Preparations for 13th Parliamentary Election

Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin has confirmed that the Election Commission is actively preparing for the upcoming 13th parliamentary election, expected to be held between February and April next year.

Speaking to reporters at his Dhaka office in Agargaon on Tuesday, he said, “Our election preparations are in full swing, with a timeline set for February to April.” He assured that the commission is working on updating voter lists, ensuring polling station security, and coordinating with law enforcement to ensure a free and fair election.

Nasir Uddin emphasized the importance of transparency and urged political parties and voters to cooperate with the EC. He added that the final schedule will be announced soon as preparations continue to ensure a credible and peaceful electoral process.
