Chief Adviser Accuses Ousted Awami League of Anti-State Conspiracy

1 min read

In a pointed address on Saturday, Chief Adviser Prof. Mohammad Yunus accused the ousted Awami League of orchestrating an anti-state conspiracy both domestically and internationally. Speaking at the inaugural meeting of the National Consensus Commission at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka, he claimed that certain factions have been frustrated by their inability to gain traction after meeting with former US President Donald Trump.

“Their efforts are hindered at every step. They concocted numerous stories, and ultimately tried to mislead Trump, but their propaganda fell flat,” Yunus stated, emphasizing that despite the ousted party’s attempts to tarnish Bangladesh’s image, the interim government enjoys substantial international support.

The Chief Adviser’s remarks underscore a growing tension between the interim government and the ousted Awami League, as political dynamics continue to evolve in the region.
