North Carolina primary goes to Donald Trump

Donald Trump, a former US president, has won the Republican primary in North Carolina. Seventy-four percent of the vote went to Trump.  Nikki Haley, the former governor of South Carolina, barely garnered 22.3% of the vote. With the exception of the Washington, DC primary, which Haley won with 62.8% of the vote, Trump has already participated in one Republican primary. Super Tuesday, the biggest voting day in the US presidential primary calendar, saw voters cast ballots in15 states throughout the country.
