BUET Alumni Night held in Canada

BUET Alumni Night is held in Canada with the aim of developing expatriate engineers, supporting new immigrants in employment, and having a strong belief in their future development.  

Expatriate BUET Alumni Association members burst into celebration after escaping the drudgery of work in frozen Canada. The guests were mesmerized by the reminiscences of former students and their family members through songs and mesmerizing cultural performances.

The program was presented by Farzana Sultana Soma. Calgary’s BUET Alumni Association President Shukuruzzaman Tuhin said, “I enjoyed a very good time with my family.” Such events take us back to the days of yesteryear.

The new committee members, including the newly elected president, Obaidul Kabir, and general secretary Shafkat Mahmud of the 2024–25 executive council, were introduced in the ceremony.
