Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have been embroiled in a tumultuous nine-year battle, and recent reports suggest the actor has now cut ties with his ex-wife and their son Pax.
Sources claim that Pitt’s relationship with Pax is beyond repair. Last month, Pax was photographed leaving a hotel visibly intoxicated with friends before heading to an adult entertainment club, from which he and his friends departed around 3 a.m.
A source close to Pitt indicated that the actor has distanced himself from Pax’s recent actions, stating, “He has zero concern with what Pax does or doesn’t do. [Pax’s] actions reflect who he is.” The source added that Pitt believes his relationship with Pax is unfixable and attributes much of the strain to Jolie’s primary custody arrangement following their divorce.
A person close to Pitt suggested that he feels the issues stem from how the children have been raised, saying, “They are now old enough to make their own choices, and if their choices include drama, that is all on them.”
