Book fair extended for two days

The deadline of Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2024 has been extended for two days. The fair will continue till March 2 (Saturday).

On Tuesday (February 27), the member of the fair management committee and the publisher of the upcoming publication, Osman Gani, confirmed the matter to the media citing the Secretary of the Ministry of Culture, Khalil Ahmed.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has approved the application to extend the period of the book fair by two days. So the book fair will continue till March 2.

Director General of Bangla Academy Muhammad Nurul Huda said, on the instructions of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and on the advice of the Ministry of Culture, the time of the book fair has been extended till next Friday and Saturday.
