A Bangladeshi businessman was killed in an attack by black thugs in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Mohammad Abu Hanif (50) was seriously injured in the attack by miscreants on Friday (March 8) local time and was admitted to a hospital. He died there on Sunday (March 10) while undergoing treatment.
It is reported that while working at a tobacco store in Baltimore, Maryland, Hanif stopped a group of young black men from entering the store and stealing cigarettes. They were forced out of the shop. Hanif ran after them. The miscreants ran away after stabbing him. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and rescued the seriously injured Hanif and admitted him to the nearest hospital.
Mohammad Hanif was well known to everyone in the Maryland Bangladeshi community. His death has cast a shadow of mourning in the Bangladeshi community in metro Washington as well as in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. Prince George’s County Police in Maryland announced a $25,000 reward for the arrest of Abu Hanif’s killer.
