Bangladesh Railway will start selling advance Eid‑ul‑Fitr train tickets from 3 March, aiming to ensure a smoother holiday journey for homebound passengers. According to a notice from the Ministry of Railways on Wednesday (25 February), 100% of the tickets will be sold online, as in previous years.
To reduce server pressure and passenger inconvenience, tickets for the two railway zones will be released at different times:
- Western Zone intercity trains: available from 8:00 AM
- Eastern Zone intercity trains: available from 2:00 PM
Advance Ticket Schedule
- 3 March → tickets for 13 March
- 4 March → tickets for 14 March
- 5 March → tickets for 15 March
- 6 March → tickets for 16 March
- 7 March → tickets for 17 March
- 8 March → tickets for 18 March
- 9 March → tickets for 19 March
