Bangladesh Export Development Bureau, Bangladesh Sub-High Commission in Kolkata, Bangladesh Book Publishers, and Sellers Association Dhaka have taken the initiative as a joint venture of the 11th Bangladesh Book Fair at College Square premises in Kolkata.
Bangladesh Book Fair will continue from Monday (December 4) to December 13. West Bengal Minister for Schools and Higher Education Bratya Basu will attend the inauguration ceremony at 4 pm on Monday as the chief guest.
Mofidul Haque, Trustee of the Liberation War Museum, Bangladesh, will be present as the guest of honor at the opening ceremony. Trinamool Congress MLA Debashis Kumar and MLA Vivek Gupta will also be present as special guests at this event.
Various publishing houses in Bangladesh are participating in this fair. In addition to the sale of Bangladeshi books, seminars, and cultural programs will be organized every day at the fair.
