The 75th anniversary of the Awami League, one of the oldest political parties in the subcontinent, was celebrated at a restaurant in Sydney on Sunday under the initiative of the Bangladesh Awami League Australia branch. Emeritus Professor Rafiqul Islam was present as the chief guest at the meeting.
