Annual conference of Bangladeshi doctors in Australia held

The annual conference and scientific meeting of Bangladeshi doctors working in the country was held in Canberra, the capital of Australia. Recently, Federation of Bangladesh Medical Societies Australia organized a two-day long conference and meeting.

More than five hundred Bangladeshis from different parts of Australia along with doctors and their family members participated in the event. On the first day of the conference, reunions, banquets, and interesting cultural programs were also organized for Bangladeshis.

The annual conference and scientific meeting were held on the second day of the event. More than three hundred Bangladeshi doctors participated in the scientific meeting.

On the other hand, Bangladesh High Commissioner in Canberra M Allama Siddiqui and Australian Medical Association President Steve Robson were present as invited guests at the doctors’ annual conference.

The event was organized by the Federation of Bangladesh Medical Societies Australia along with the Bangladesh Doctors Association of Australian Capital Territory, an organization of Bangladeshi doctors living in the country’s capital. At the end of the conference, the new committee of the organization was announced. Dr. as president. Moyjur Rahman Maruf and General Secretary Dr. Musharraf Hossain Khan were elected.
