On Monday, December 15, an all-party resistance rally began at 3 p.m. at Dhaka’s Shaheed Minar. The gathering was organized to protest the attack on Sharif Osman Hadi, who was recently shot. Leaders and activists from various political parties, as well as social and cultural organizations, joined the demonstration.
Eyewitnesses reported that even before the rally officially started, the Shaheed Minar area was crowded with participants. Preparations had been underway since midday, with the stage being set, chairs arranged, and banners and festoons displayed.
The rally featured songs and poetry recitations, symbolizing protest against the attack and voicing opposition to violence.
