Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has called for a three-day (October 31 and November 1 and 2) road, rail, and waterway blockade across the country after the BNP.
On Monday (October 30), Jamaat-e-Islami’s Central Propaganda Department MR Karim issued a statement signed by the party’s Acting Secretary General Maulana ATM Machum.
He said that on October 28, various anti-government political parties including Jamaat-e-Islami and BNP announced the program of a general meeting in Dhaka. The law and order forces of the country instead of cooperating in the implementation of the program of the peaceful mass assembly, prevented the activists from coming to the rally.
The activists who came to the rally were searched from their cars and arrested en masse after getting off the bus, launch, and train. Awami terrorists attacked a peaceful rally of opposition parties and law and order forces broke up the rally with tear gas, firing, and heavy lathi charge.
Resignation of the government, re-establishment of the caretaker government system in order to make the upcoming twelfth parliamentary elections free, fair, and neutral, prevention of price hike of daily necessities, attack on opposition party’s mass meeting on October 28, the killing of journalists and activists and government-supported terrorists burning cars at various places and creating anarchy tomorrow on October 31 and November 1 and 2 across the country. He announced the program of blockade of roads, railways, and waterways.
