Actor James Ransone Dies at 46

James Ransone, widely recognized for his standout performances as Ziggy Sobotka in The Wire and the adult Eddie Kaspbrak in It: Chapter Two, has died at the age of 46.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed his passing on Friday. Reports indicate he was found at his home in Los Angeles. Authorities conducted an investigation and stated that no foul play was suspected.

A Career Marked by Memorable Roles

Ransone built a respected career across film and television. After rising to prominence in The Wire, he went on to appear in major films including Tangerine, Sinister, Sinister 2, Spike Lee’s Oldboy remake and The Black Phone and its sequel, which became his final screen appearance. His television work included roles in Poker Face, Law and Order, Hawaii Five 0, SEAL Team and The First.
