WA Police are responding to what they describe as a “serious incident” at a residence in Mosman Park, prompting a significant emergency response in one of Perth’s western suburbs.
A large number of officers have converged on Mott Close, where several surrounding streets have been cordoned off. Authorities are urging the public to avoid the area, though they stress there is no broader threat to community safety.
St John Ambulance confirmed that multiple crews around six in total are attending what has been classified as a critical incident.
WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch is expected to address the media alongside the head of the Major Crime Division at 11:30am local time, where further details are likely to emerge.
