Massive Fire Ravages Warehouses and Factories in Gazipur

A devastating fire in Konabari, Gazipur, has destroyed a jute warehouse, two small factories, and a residential colony, leaving owners facing heavy losses. The series of fires in the area has sparked fear among local residents.

The blaze broke out around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday in the Fakir Market area of Ambagh under Konabari police station. Witnesses reported that the fire first erupted in a jute warehouse before quickly spreading to two nearby mini factories and a colony. Locals immediately alerted the fire service after spotting the flames.

Four units from Konabari Modern and Chourasta fire stations rushed to the scene and worked tirelessly to contain the fire. After nearly two hours of effort, the flames were brought under control by 6:30 a.m.

Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage. Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident.
