Iran’s Multicolored Civilization Leaves the World in Awe

In ancient times, Isfahan was part of the Elamite Empire. By the late 13th century, the city of Tabriz faced decline under Turkish invasions, but rulers like Mahmud Gazan and his successors elevated it to the status of a capital.
