The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a break-in at a residence in Los Feliz reportedly owned by actor Brad Pitt. The actor is currently traveling abroad to promote his upcoming racing drama centered around Formula One.

Police responded late Wednesday night to the property on the 2300 block of North Edgemont Street, confirmed LAPD spokesperson Officer Drake Madison. He said three unidentified suspects gained entry through a front window, ransacked the home, and left with an unspecified amount of “miscellaneous property.”

The incident was first reported by NBC News. Madison added that the police have not released the homeowner’s name and that no details are available yet about what items were stolen. No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Records show Pitt purchased the Los Feliz property in April 2023 for 5.5 million dollars, according to a commercial real estate platform. A representative for the actor declined to comment on the burglary.

The break-in occurred as Pitt is abroad on a global press tour for his latest film, which is set in the world of Formula One racing. He was last seen attending the film’s international premiere in London on Monday.

The movie is scheduled to open in U.S. theaters this Friday, June 27. Industry estimates suggest a potential global opening exceeding 100 million dollars, with anticipated earnings of around 50 to 60 million dollars domestically and an additional 70 million dollars internationally.
