In April, Silverstone revealed plans to reprise her role for a TV series sequel, excited by the possibility of returning to her most famous character. She credits her recent appearance as her alter ego in Rakuten’s 2023 Super Bowl commercial for reigniting her enthusiasm.
Talking to People magazine about the idea of revisiting Cher, she said, “I didn’t think I’d ever revisit Cher again. And then I did it for the Super Bowl, yeah, and it was so much fun.
