On May 20th, the announcement was made by Foyez Ahmad Taiyeb, a special assistant to the chief adviser, confirming the arrival of Starlink’s services. The company has introduced two packages to kickstart its operations: “Starlink Residence” and “Residence Light.” The monthly costs are set at 6,000 and 4,200 Bangladeshi Taka respectively, with a one-time setup fee of 47,000 Taka.

What makes Starlink stand out is its promise of no speed or data limits. Users can enjoy internet speeds reaching up to 300 Mbps with unlimited data, an enticing prospect for households, freelancers, and businesses alike.

Foyez Ahmad Taiyeb shared that Bangladeshis can now place their orders immediately. He highlighted that the initiative aims to inaugurate a new era of high-speed internet within the next 90 days, opening doors to unprecedented digital possibilities across the nation.

While the service comes at a premium, Taiyeb emphasized that it offers a sustainable alternative for those seeking top-tier, high-speed connectivity. He also expressed optimism that this technology could expand into areas where fiber optic or faster internet options are still unavailable, creating new opportunities for business growth and digital inclusion.

Furthermore, NGOs, freelancers, and entrepreneurs will benefit from uninterrupted, high-speed internet throughout the year. This development is set to mark a new milestone in the country’s digital evolution, fostering innovation and connectivity across all sectors.
