The London Eid Festival is poised to return this April, transforming one of the UK’s premier shopping destinations into a vibrant celebration marking the end of Ramadan. This event stands as Europe’s largest tribute to Eid Al-Fitr, a three-day holiday that concludes the fasting month, typically observed in late March.
From April 4 to 6, Westfield London—Europe’s largest retail hub, boasting over 460 stores—will host the festival for the sixth consecutive year. Attendees can expect an array of fashion, fragrances, culinary delights, and live entertainment that reflects the rich cultural tapestry of the Muslim community.
Following its London debut last year, the festivities will extend to Westfield Stratford City from April 11 to 13, further promoting unity among diverse communities as Ramadan draws to a close.
Katie Wyle, head of Shopping Centre Management at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, expressed enthusiasm for the event’s return. “Following its successful debut at Westfield Stratford City in 2024, we’re thrilled to bring it back for a second year, allowing the event to flourish across both sides of London,” she stated.
Organizers anticipate over 300,000 visitors during the two weekends of celebration, with festivities expected to rival the bustling crowds typically seen at Westfield on Boxing Day. A dynamic mix of entertainment, activities, and food stalls promises to captivate attendees.
Waleed Jahangir, managing director at Algebra Consulting, emphasized the festival’s significance: “As organizers, we’re not just hosting a festival; we’re shaping and celebrating the evolving Muslim community consumer landscape, and we can’t wait to bring an even bigger, more vibrant Eid celebration to life for everyone to enjoy.”
The festival will feature a diverse lineup of performers and brands from Turkiye, Malaysia, the UAE, and beyond, showcasing modest fashion, boutique gifts, children’s literature, and homeware, ensuring a rich experience for all attendees.
