Two teenage girls were struck by a vehicle on Phillip Island in Victoria after the sedan first collided with a parked car. The incident occurred around 11 a.m. on Thomson Ave in Cowes.
According to reports, the sedan crashed into a stationary station wagon before hitting the girls, who were walking on the street. Fortunately, the teenagers sustained only minor injuries and were subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment.
The 83-year-old driver of the sedan was unharmed and remained at the scene following the incident. A 73-year-old woman, a passenger in the vehicle, also suffered minor injuries and was transported to the hospital.
An air ambulance was dispatched to the crash site, highlighting the seriousness of the situation. Victoria Police are currently investigating the incident and are calling on anyone with information to come forward.
