Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina arrived in Germany on Thursday (February 15) to participate in the International Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
This is his first foreign visit after taking charge as the Prime Minister for the fifth time. A large number of European diaspora Awami League leaders and activists have appeared in Munich, Germany, because of the Prime Minister’s visit. There is a festive atmosphere on the arrival of Bangabandhu’s daughter.
The plane carrying the prime minister landed at Munich airport around 4:30 pm local time on Thursday (February 15).
In addition to attending the formal conference on February 16-18, the head of government is scheduled to hold courtesy calls on the sidelines of at least seven countries and top leaders of three international organizations.
It is reported that the Prime Minister will hold a bilateral meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rata, Danish Prime Minister Mete Frederiksen, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on the sidelines of the Sassmeln.
Besides, the Prime Minister is scheduled to have a courtesy meeting with Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, UK Foreign Secretary David Cameron, German International Cooperation and Development Minister Wenza Schulz, World Bank Senior Managing Director Axel van Trotsenberg and Mater Global Affairs President Sir Nick Clegg.
