8 burnt from fire explosion at filling station

The fire that broke out at the Royal Filling Station in Mohakhali in the capital was caused by the explosion of a gas cylinder. Eight workers at that filling station were burnt in this incident. All of them have been taken to Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery.

The injured are Salauddin (38), Mamun (30), Jiban (21), Kamal Hossain (50), Amir Hossain (32), Machum (25), Rana (30) and Khair Mia (44).

Dr. Tariqul Islam, Resident Surgeon of Sheikh Hasina National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute confirmed that the treatment of the burnt workers has started.

Dr. Tariqul Islam also mentioned that 8 people had come to our emergency department due to the explosion at the Mohakhali filling station. They are undergoing treatment in the emergency department. But the percentage of whose body has been burnt is yet to be determined.
